EXPELLIARMUS"14

Robo competitions event              A cluster of robot competitions, the robotics club of KEC added an event known as Robowar in the academic year 2012 - 2013,which is the first of its kind in history of Kongu Engineering college - EXPELLIARMUS'13 .             We always dreamt of giving some robotic gaming events, which will come true in this academic year 2013 - 2014 on March 15, 2014 in name EXPELLIARMUS'14 . None of the events conducted in the history of KEC are similar to these events.             Motto of this event is to encourage the students in all general domains, which is a conceptual stair case to a predictable robotic generation for the students. Programming and Interfacing in Controllers                                                 A three day workshop (22, 23 & 24-02-2014) Amount charged per head For Robotics Club members is Rs:1000/- For Non - members is Rs:1100/- Whats special about this workshop?           This workshop is entirely a new kind. Think of a situation being handicapped in implementing what you have learnt in theory? This is the question the stood when we studied about the 8051 - Micro controller.           So a set of technical members self learnt the stuff about AT89C51 and found a solution to practically implement it to their projects. They helped others to learn this with this workshop. Course work comprises, AT89C51, Basics. Embedded C-programming Software simulation of circuits Various programming concepts Interfacing methods Project development For further details use the following links, INCENDIO ROBOTICS"13 -------------------------- worksho

INCENDIO ROBOTICS"14 - PCB

PCB Design and Fabrication Workshop                            This workshop will provide college students a base to PCB Fabrication and Design. They will be developing their own models by their own hands. The workshop focuses on application and use of technology rather than their internal working so that a person can grasp the concepts well. Venue:  Maharaja Auditorium Date: Feb 21 st , 2014 Course Fee: Just Rs.450/Member (4 Member/Team) Why to attend this workshop?           Many of us have interests in circuits and there arises need for implementing in the real time. How many of you know how to implement a circuit in your own project as a compact PCB? Very few, this is the reason why you go for out sourcing your project. We have a solution for you. Find out what is interesting in this workshop, What is PCB? Simple circuits manual design  Simulation of circuits in software Plotting a PCB software layout Fabrication Tools Soldering
